Every time I knot rope halter, I have some excess material, and instead of throwing that away , I decided to make multi-coloured ‘salvaged’ halters instead. Rope sections are fused together and tied, creating an unique look.

Disclaimer: Since there is a fuse, they will not have the exact same strength as a normal rope halter - if it comes to push. But they sure make a wonderful colourful unique addition to your tack.

Knotted Rope Halters are the core tool for natural horsemanship. This hand-tied halter, with simple knots strategically balance on the horse's head. Its lightness means that it is easy for your horse to carry around, but thin enough that the horse can feel the communication. It effectively teaches a horse to give, to pressure without force.

Made from ¼” (6mm) ppm rope, this 2-Knot Halter holds up to abrasion and sunlight with little stretch. Used by many famous clinicians and trainers, these halters are built to last.

This rope halter is with 2 knots, and cob/ quarterhorse size.

Features:

  • Made from ¼” (6mm) ppm rope

  • 2 knotted (noseband) rope halter

  • Beautiful vibrant colour

  • No metal, even to finish the halter; the ends are melted and concealed

  • Leather detail under the gullet

  • Great for "natural horsemanship" training
