I understand the challenges of keeping up with growing children. To add to the challenge, finding a western saddle that is suitable for the horse/ pony and your child is quit difficult, not only from an availability point of view but also from a financial standpoint.
It is a fact that kids will advance in their riding skills but also enjoy riding and spending time horseback much more, if they ride in tack that fits them, and their legs reach the stirrups.
In order to help you jump those hurdles and unlock the development and fun ahead, I have a Young Rider Program that offers small, good quality western saddles out for loan.
This provided your child and horse easy access to top knotch saddles, pads and cinches while ensuring to keep the cost low.
I offers parents a stress-free solution to ensure their children's safety while maintaining an enjoyable lifestyle.
The program is set to start Nov 1 if everything goes according to plan, but you can get already in touch to see if I have anything that might work for you. Availibility will be limited to start with.

How does it work?
The saddles I rent out are mainly used but well maintained and in good condition. All saddles will be rented out with saddlepads and cinches, if not requested otherwise.
A written contract is always prepared for rentals along with a 'How to care for your equipment' - guide. You may opt for either three or six-month rental periods, with rental fees varying based on the saddle.
Following the rental period, the saddle must be returned in a clean state and in the same condition as when the rental began, with the exception of normal wear and tear.
You are liable for any damage that occurs during your rental period.
My kids and youth saddles are not for sale, solely to provide their use to as many kids as possible when needed.
Available Saddles & Accessories
At this point I have 12" - 14" saddles available that are loaned out together with fitting saddle pads and cinches.
Saddles are sourced from different location and makers, whereas most of the saddle pads and cinches are Weaver.
The saddle size that will be a match for your child depends on the type of horse, size & height of your child, but also what is your child doing with the horse. Every case is different and I am very passionate to find a good match for you - sometimes that means to even swap out fenders and stirrups to provide that great feeling we all deserve to have in the saddle.
Package rentals range from 200 sek to 650 sek a month, depending on the saddle.
